The Intellectual Capital Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance for the restoration of the dormitory of the Odesa National A. V. Nezhdanova Academy of Music, which was damaged during a Russian drone attack. The funds will be used for urgent repair works, helping students return to safe living and learning conditions as quickly as possible.
This spring, an enemy Shahed drone exploded above the academy’s dormitory. In a single night, the blast shattered nearly 80 windows and more than 40 doors, while also damaging the roof, façade, and interior of the building.
This is more than just a dormitory. It is home to students of the oldest and the only national conservatory in southern Ukraine. Talented young musicians from across Ukraine and abroad study here. Despite the war, many of them came to Odesa to pursue their dream of becoming musicians, conductors, composers, and music educators.
The Intellectual Capital Charitable Foundation believes that even in times of war, young people must have the opportunity to learn, create, and develop their talents. Supporting education and culture today is an investment in Ukraine’s future.
