Since 2016, Aspen Institute Kyiv has been organizing seminars for a generation of young Ukrainian leaders (ages 27–37) with the aim of engaging them in meaningful dialogue on human nature, freedom, property, issues of equality, social contradictions, war, community development, justice, and the trends shaping our future.

The seminar lasts about a week. Participants meet in the picturesque Carpathians, where during roundtable discussions they exchange experiences and learn from one another, reflecting on the texts of the world’s most renowned thinkers, while also discovering new perspectives on understanding the world. Leaders from various fields of the economy, public service, politics, culture, arts, media, civil society, science, and beyond take part in the event. The seminar discussions provide practical exposure to new formats of group work that incorporate elements of Socratic text-based dialogue.

The seminars are organized with the support of the “Intellectual Capital” Charitable Foundation.
