The “Intellectual Capital” Charitable Foundation sponsored the Ukrainian edition of the book “Come On!” — the anniversary report of the Club of Rome, offering a new paradigm for addressing the global challenges of our time.
The authors of the book are the co-presidents of the Club of Rome, Anders Wijkman and Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker, as well as more than 30 members of the Club. The book substantiates the need for a “new Enlightenment” for a world that is no longer “empty,” but “full” — marked by overpopulation, depleted resources, and global inequality.
Central thesis: the existing economic development model is outdated and dangerous, and a new system of values and governance is required to save the planet and maintain balance between nature, society, and markets.
